How to tell if someone is not happy with a comment you just made

Apart from them telling you, there are non verbal gestures humans make that can let you know whether they are happy with comments you made.

For example imagine sitting at a meeting and you make a comment regarding the quality of work produced and how it reduces towards the end of the week. You notice the line manager has taken off his glasses and thrown them on the table.

This tells you he wants to see no more of what you have to say and has put his glasses down to end all his positive communications.

If you are speaking with someone and you notice that they close their eyes for a long time this indicates they have heard enough of what you are saying and they are now less positive about the conversation. Sometimes this is followed by a tilt of the head away from the person that made the comment.
